My name is Matthew Garner. I am a Fort Smith native and I am running for Zone 5 Fort Smith School Board.

Zone 5 encompasses the eastern side of Fort Smith, north to the river.

I grew up in Fort Smith and attended Southside High School, graduating in 2005. I then attended the University of Arkansas earning a degree in Accounting in 2009.

For the past 15+years I have worked in the Finance/Accounting world including stents in Tax, Internal Audit, General Accounting, and now as VP of Finance.

My wife Emilee and I live in Fort Smith with our two children.
